Choi Design Group – Winter/ Spring Industrial Design Internship
Location: Chicago, Il
Job Type: Paid, Part time Contract/ Intern
Summary: Choi Design Group is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Industrial Design Intern/ Contract position to join our team this winter. You will be working alongside other talented designers and participating in client projects right away. While growing your design skills you will be getting real-world design consultancy experience in a company with 3 decades of experience designing for clients such as Weber, Hamilton Beach, Sunstar, Skil and more.
Responsibilities:
– Sketching, ideation and concept generation
– Presenting concepts to team and participating in design critique
– Prototyping and assisting with model making tasks
– Assisting with product visualization
Basic Qualifications:
– Senior Industrial design student or recent graduate
– Creative and understands design trends and aesthetics
– Basic familiarity with SolidWorks
– Proficient in Design sketching (digital and analog)
– Working proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
– Positive attitude, fast learner and eager to grow
– Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team of designers
– Ability to take direction and implement design critique in a timely manner
– Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality

Summary: Choi Design Group is looking for a Graphic Design Intern/ Contract position to help us with internal design projects and promotional work. You will be working alongside our small team of talented designers in our office to help us with projects such as branding, web design, social media and generating promotional content. While growing your skills you will be getting real-world design consultancy experience in a company with 3 decades of experience designing for clients such as Weber, Hamilton Beach, Sunstar, Skil and more.
Responsibilities:
– Generating graphic concepts to present to the team based on project brief
– Creating social media and promotional graphics and posts
– Assisting in web design project related tasks
– Presenting work and concepts to the team
Basic Qualifications:
– Senior Graphic Design student or recent graduate
– Working proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
– Basic familiarity with Figma (wireframing experience preferred)
– Positive attitude, fast learner and eager to grow
– Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team of designers
– Ability to take direction and implement design critique in a timely manner
– Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
